Here at Great Lakes Hemp Supplements we take pride in the education we can pass along. In today’s CBD market there is a great deception. This is due to the lack of regulation in the CBD market, as well as (if not more so) a general lack of education.

Michael E. Thue is the CEO & Founder of Great Lakes Hemp Supplements, LLC and the Center for Compassion, LLC. He gained valuable experience in the Cannabis Industry by founding the first 501(3)c Non Profit Compassion Center in Traverse City, formerly the Grand Traverse Compassionate Connection. He has over 18 years of experience with using cannabis as medicine in a vast variety of different alternative forms of ingestion and topical uses. He has also dedicated his life to Christian Services and was a founding board member of Northern Michigan Deco-Tec which is a weekend, Christian Retreat for teenagers where Deco-Tec stands for Decolores Teens Encounter Christ. Deco-Tec has been an activate part of the community for over 16 years now. He has always had a passion for working with and helping children. As a youth he was a paid child care worker for the Church of the Nazarene and also Decolores monthly gatherings. After High School he went on traveling as a Youth Evangelist Intern with Cross Style Ministries where he was preaching and teaching in a number of different church and youth bible camps. Michael also had the honor of being the closing speaker for the Seed and Water Blessing at the Serpent Mound in Ohio for the Spring Solstice Celebration in 2013.

Thue has currently completed 2 1/2 of the 4 year Medical Assistant Program at Baker University. He has completed a continuing education course for nurses by Patients Out of Time entitled, The Endocannabinoid System and Cannabis: What Nurses Need to Know. He has gained vast hands on knowledge by guiding patients through the Physician Evaluation and Certification process for the Michigan Medical Marihuana Program and has aided in countless patients follow up treatment and care under physicians supervision.
