Jennifer McGrath Cannabis Law

Lawyer Jennifer McGrath is a former City Attorney with over 20 years of legal experience. Her law office provides legal support and guidance to members of the cannabis community as well as Cities and Counties in navigating the emerging State and local regulation of both adult use and medical marijuana in this rapidly changing environment.

After serving as the City Attorney of Huntington Beach for 12 years, Ms. McGrath has embraced the opportunity to bring her skill set to assist cannabis businesses to establish themselves consistent with California State and local law, including licensing, development agreements, building permits, zoning, land use, leases, regulatory compliance, voter initiatives, advocacy, business, litigation and administrative hearings.

That same skill set allows Ms. McGrath to assist Cities and Counties in the drafting of business regulations and zoning laws to address the individual needs of their community considering the State regulation of both adult use and medical marijuana effective January 1, 2018.
