MAMMOTH P is the first product engineered and produced by Growcentia. Growcentia was founded by a team of three Colorado State University PhD soil microbiologists that share a passion for enhancing soil health and promoting sustainable agriculture. Using innovative proprietary technology, this team developed an approach to identify and apply nature’s very best microbes to improve nutrient availability to plants. Growcentia aims to help growers maximize the health of their soils or growth media to enhance plant health and yields, while minimizing environmental impacts of agriculture.
MAMMOTH P(R) was developed at Colorado State University using our microbial trait selection platform, where we screened millions of soil microbes to identify those that most effectively facilitated plant P uptake. Our platform allows us to produce very effective multi-species microbial formulations with exceptional shelf stability up to at least two years. MAMMOTH P(R) is compatible across all nutrient lines and growth media, including soil, soil-less, and recirculating hydroponic systems.
Growcentia, the parent company of Mammoth Microbes, develops organically certified microbial plant growth stimulants that enable growers to sustainably maximize plant health and yield. Our first product, MAMMOTH P(R) is an organic, liquid microbial soil additive that acts as a catalyst to maximize plant nutrient use efficiency to significantly increase cannabis yield. The microbes in MAMMOTH P(TM) can unlock bound nutrients and transform them back into plant available forms, maximizing P and micronutrient availability to significantly increase plant nutrient uptake and cannabis yield by at least 16% (which represents at least a 20:1 ROI to producers).
