Mercury was founded in 1969 as Mercury Forms by Valerie Mannix. Her fearless and entrepreneurial spirit permeates Mercury to this day. Mercury Forms was a true family business, having started and successfully operated in the basement of the family home in Rochester NY until 1979. Mercury outgrew the basement’s limited space and then relocated to our Goodman street location. It wasn’t long after, that Mercury again needed to grow and over a total of 35 years, would expand through a total of 6 different facilities, before finally settling on our current location at Innovation Way.
