Originally established to supply protective packaging to the electronics industry, SECO Industries first products played a major role in addressing the problem of “electrostatic discharge” (E.S.D), a major and invisible contributor to computer component failure. The companies innovations in the area of E.S.D protection and in the development and manufacture of products that address other major packaging issues including shock and vibration, polycarbonate compatibility, corrosion, and humidity can be credited with saving the computer industry alone millions of dollars.
