The people of Wadsworth, working with our network of resellers interface with growers of all types to offer a high level of knowledge and expertise, seeing projects through to a smooth and well-executed completion. Wadsworth’s History It was 1952 in Arvada, Colorado, when George Dean Sr. opened Wadsworth Electric. He had a 1940 Buick, $50, and his hand tools. Wadsworth Electric grew from supplying appliances and wiring homes and businesses to the early days of automated traffic lights. George Dean Jr. brought the company, which became Wadsworth Control Systems, into the greenhouse industry. The first to design and build greenhouse automation products in the U.S., Wadsworth has remained family-owned and in Arvada. Our products now cater to both greenhouses and grow rooms, offering sophisticated climate controls, training, curtain systems, and vent automation.
